Euthanasia Request

Our pets, in their too short lives provide us with companionship, support, lots of laughs and unconditional love. Unfortunately, there may come the time where we have to make the choice to end our pets suffering from an illness or injury. It is one of the most difficult decisions we as pet owners have to make but nonetheless it is in fact an act of love.

We can choose to let our loved ones go with the least amount of pain and suffering and the most amount of dignity. Isn’t that what our pets deserve?

When the time comes, VetMedics Inc. is here to help you throughout the
entire process. In advance we will talk with you and other family members who choose to be present to explain the entire process in hopes of easing some of the anxiety that comes with euthanasia. We encourage the family to be present in an area where your pet is most comfortable. A sedative is given before euthanasia to ensure a peaceful, gentle passing. When sedation is achieved and family is ready, the euthanasia procedure is performed giving an intravenous injection.

service

The process is humane and peaceful. We encourage for family members to take some time to say their goodbyes in private. When ready, we will prepare your pet for aftercare. We provide full crematory services and when complete we will deliver the remains to you.

VetMedics Inc. knows how difficult this process is. We are here to be a support system for you and your family.

Love Your Pet

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
